For the Chem 14 series, does Lavelle generally enforce the "attend only the lecture you are enrolled in" thing all the time? Just wondering, since he did it this quarter, but only for, like, a week, and I probably won't get enrolled in the lecture I want.

^well, i don't know any more than you, since i took 14a this quarter also, but.... it definitely didn't matter this quarter, so why would he change it? besides, since the lectures are videotaped now a bunch of people stopped going, so there's always space.

and how will he know if you did change lectures? he won't...

Ahaha, well I'm in lecture 1 this quarter, and he actually made the TAs check, like, print-outs from URSA proving we were enrolled in the lecture for about a week. I'm guessing cuz a lot of people from the other lectures were coming to it. eh.

whoaa..really!? i didn't hear about that. he never did anything like that in lecture 3. geez... that seems really unneccessary and stupid. i mean, like, couldn't someone just wait until they had checked, and then slip back in? or just say they forgot their printout? or just show them someone else's, and say they forgot their id/bruincard?
haha idk why i'm thinking of so many ways to get around it...i don't even bother watching his lectures online now, much less actually going....its not like i'd learn anything...

the curve for that class is going to be beastly, btw. And did you notice someone got a 5% on the midterm? 5%!! Hahahahaha!!!!....... ahhh, i shouldn't laugh at them, that's bad.

Not really. I'd have bashed my head in by now if it were me. Yikes. Now that midterms/quizzes are almost over, we really just need to take the final. I'm kind of bored.

Chem 14B with Lavelle.
LS1 with Halpin.
Fiat Lux - Human Behavior.

I'm not really sure what GE to take, but I'm gonna just take one that fits my schedule. So either History of India (History 9A) or Romans (Classics 20).

this is for life science majors specifically:

i had math3a for fall quarter, but i'm waitlisted for math3b in the winter. what are the chances of getting into the class (waitlist number 3), and if i don't get in, how much of a disadvantage am i at if i take math3b in the spring? thanks you guys
