Has anyone done POST? Any reactions? Did you bring all of your things with you and keep them in storage or have your parents meet you on move in day?

bump 10 char

POST is great. Lots of fun. Do it if you can.

Bringing your belongings before POST starts depends on how far away you live from Cornell. If your parents can make it in a day trip and plan on being there for move-in day, have them bring your stuff them. Else, it's no big deal, and there are plenty to help you move in on move-in day.

i really regret not doing a pre-orientation program, especially POST. worse case scenario, you'll have an amazing time doing all of the community service activities. best case scenario, you'll make lifelong friendships that will carry on into the rest of your 4 years at cornell. either way, you'll be better adjusted since they'll be 50+ people you already know in your year, along with a lot of upperclassmen who lead the groups. definitely recommend it.

random fact- i went to a POST party (some house on the way to the commons? i have no idea) on my first night at cornell and it was a lot of fun...first college party of the year!
