Pre-Calc credits

Not sure if this is the right place to post it, I have been accepted already, but made a pretty stupid error. I think I forgot to send that I took pre-calc over the summer at my local college between Junior and Senior year (that’s how I jumped from trig to ap calc) and I have a couple of questions.

  1. Where can I send the transcript to?
  2. If I did good enough, will this void me from taking the pre-calc section of the math placement?
  3. Say I can’t send it in due to various errors and I end up taking the math placement w/pre calc(I’ll call up my local college and ask, I’m not entirely sure how to obtain my transcript), will this have any effect on choosing math classes at orientation?

Which AP Calc you took? Did you took the AP test? If so, did you get a 4 or 5? you don’t need to take the math placement if you got a 4 or 5 on the AP test.

  1. Call the transfer office or check the website
  2. No, anyone can take the math placement and go up to whatever level they want.
  3. If you take the math placement and fail the pre-calc section, you won't be able to register for calculus classes at orientation. You'll have to wait for your transcript to come in before you can register for calc. If you take the math placement and pass the pre-calc section, you should have no problems registering for anything that pre-calc is a pre-req for.
