I am an upcoming freshman at Cornell this year, and my major is animal science. I plan to hopefully end up double majoring at Dyson (business school), but I want to ultimately go to dental school. Should I switch out of animal science and go into bio/chem/biochem? I don’t particulary LOVE animal science, but maybe some of what I will learn can apply to dental school (in animal science I will be taking lots of bio-related classes, even general). Bio tends to foster lots of premed students, and I hate to say it but I’m not so sure I should switch to bio because I need a high GPA for dental school. However, animal science fosters all the prevet students…
