Pre-Med Club

This year I'm going to start a pre-med club, where students interested in the medical field can get together and discuss different topics.

Any ideas that would make this club a little more interesting? Also, any ideas for bi-weekly or monthly meetings?

Thank you!

Try and see if you can get local physicians to come talk about their career. Also, find volunteering or training opportunities related to the healthcare field (ie EMT-B certifications, CNA certs, volunteering in hospitals, etc) that students might be interested in.

interesting topic, i also founded a medical association at my school

im thinking of doing weekly flyers about issues in the medical field, programs for med students, which universities offer the best programs, etc.

anyone else have any ideas??????

pleasE?

I have posted a response to you on another thread you have created for the same topic.

Hm... wait I'm assuming this is a high school club? Well I guess technically that'd make it a "pre-pre-med" club!

pre-pre-med club! well said.

do some fundraising and have snacks during the meetings...trust me it'll give ur club a great start! ;)

OP......I guess it'll be tough to discern btw the activities of HOSA and ur Pre-pre-med club!

"pre-pre-med", my mistake

We do have HOSA at school. I think I'll just play the club by ear.
Maybe watch some Scrubs... :)
