Last year my D got a rejection from a school before we had returned home from that audition trip! Luckily, it was late in the audition process, so she’d tolerated a lot of rejection by then. I think we actually both laughed because it was so indicative of what a crazy process this is!! Hang in there everyone!!

Agreed. It is really difficult. I have twins with one going MT and the other applying to engineering. I like to say you are good enough to be put in the gum-ball machine; you meet the requirements of one of the colors that goes in there. Then when you put the quarter in and you twist the knob, you can hope for the red one but who knows if the red one will come out. It’s such a grueling process to say the least!
