66-800
65-800
Im not sure of this but according to the past trend, this is going to be this january curve.

Thanks for sharing what you found, @JANSAT2400. I guess we will just have to wait and see… Less than one week until scores come in!

@JANSAT2400 I’m not sure what logic that curve is based on, CR was fairly easy, writing was easy (curves for these two will be awful), and math was slightly tricky. -1 on math for 1/11 was a 770, it’s RARELY a 760. I think your math is a little too harsh (-1 will be atleast a 770 if not a 780), writing curve will just be terrible, and CR will be slightly better than writing

I’m SO worried about writing because I just took a practice test at home and I got 8 wrong…I thought I only got like 4 wrong.

Hi JANSAT2400,

What did you mean by the following? Were you saying that the Jan 2014 SAT exam questions were exactly the same as for Nov 2008, Jan 2011, and Dec 2012? How could that be? This was the first time I heard about it.

@JANSAT2400

Huh? I looked at Decemeber 2012’s discussion for it… I haven’t seen any questiosn that are the same. Care to provide a link or evidence or something?

Or maybe I’m in denial because a 760 is just brutal for math… I already had one test like that where I missed one (March 2013) and dropped to a 760. I know I missed one here but I’m hoping at least a 780, because I know I got 800’s on the other two.

relax guys. I know that Math curve is brutal and even i wish that im wrong. @ peezus and @ThePariah : Well idk if yu guys are US citizens or Internationals. Im talking about the international one. Ya why not. you can refer OFFICIAL INTERNATIONAL JANUARY SAT 2014 thread or just check this out, <a href=“January 2014 - Google Docs”>January 2014 - Google Docs; :)

@kmcprfam : december 2012 ( international ) SAT. Links to cc threads are provided in it for you to cross check.

@JANSAT2400 oh I thought you were talking about the US one

Are the curves set based on how well test takers do on that specific test or are they preset?

@immasenior The reason there is an experimental section is to see how people do on that section and then set the curve accordingly. So, the curves are not preset, but they will probably be the same or very similar to the curves received on that specific test in the past.

I looked up the previous threads mentioned by @JANSAT2400. No questions appear to be the same lol.

The questions are the same for international SAT takers only for those who took the US version the questions are completely different. But it seems unlikely that the curve will be the same for both the US and the international version.

Jeez man, you gave me a heart attack… International would have been nice to know. Well, at least we know -1 math is definitely not going to be a 760. The odds of one of the tests being 760 is so ridiculously low (like 6% or something) that them both being low is pretty much impossible

One more day! I hope everyone gets the scores of their dreams! :)

Sry guys :stuck_out_tongue: Unfortunate for me and other internationals though

Is it possible to get 2300 ish with -2 math, -2 or 3 CR, and -2 Writing with an 11-12 essay? I’m literally pooping myself right now lol

Yes.

^.^ We’ll see when the scores come out. Best of luck to all!

does any1 remember what the q w/ individual agency was like?
