Any ideas? The one in my practice book said raw score 80 and above is an 800. (Which would make me happy because I omitted two and at the most got 7 or 8 wrong- so a low 80 raw)
I'm hoping for a generous curve. What do you guys think?

Well, one test had a curve of 75 points=800. I would say this test was harder. So 73? is an 800. I’d say that it is a good curve.

haha I could only hope! =)

ikr Im hoping for a high score

I’m sorry, but World is kinda rough. I took it last year and kinda got rocked (I got a 700). I’m pretty sure I missed a little less than 10. Honestly, the curve varies only slightly from year to year. If you think you missed 8 you probably missed 11 or 12 (it always happens; everyone underestimates how much they miss) which would yield around a 670 or 680. Not so bad for a stiff exam like SAT II WH.

Wow, I don’t know. I’m curious as to why the review book curves are so high then (and the released CB curve from 2006). It has a historically high curve. However, if what you’re saying is true than that’s a bummer. I got an 800 on bio last year (and I know I got 2 or 3 wrong) and I wanted to continue that trend. Oh well.

Well, I’m going to be taking a few other tests and I’m not majoring anywhere near World rofl. If I get score choice I’ll prob send math II, chem, bio. As long as I get 750+ (I would need 5 more out of next like 15 answers right to get a 750) I will be good.

World is only the second one I’ve taken. (I’m a sophomore). I might take Math I in the fall and re take World in December. I’d like to major in international affairs and the test is important to me. I’m working at the UN this summer so at least i’ll have train time to study.
