Preliminary 2011 Transfer Admission Statistics

See link below

Oops, this one works:

http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2011/cccsirs_table2.pdf

interesting how a lot of people complained about UCSD accepting too many people, but they are at their lowest % in years

Wow UCSD has had an increase of 2500 transfer applications each of the last two years… I wonder if that trend will continue o_O If so, they’re coming close to the current volume of UCLA application statistics.

Freshman Data if anyone is interested… http://www.ucop.edu/news/factsheets/2011/fall_2011_admissions_table1.pdf

UCSD also had a 4% drop (huge) in Freshman admittance rates while practically all the other UCs either stayed the same or had an increase. This is due to a ~10% increase in freshman applications (similar to LA) while not increasing the avg number of acceptances. UCLA increases the number of acceptances with the increasing number of applications to maintain their admittance rate.

(I’d also like to point out UCR’s serious decline in Freshman acceptance rate due to them ending the referral program  )
