Which school within Rice should I apply to for premed?

I'm not premed myself, but I've certainly heard many times that it doesn't matter which school (or more specifically, which major) you belong to - there are certain classes that a premed needs that you will all have to fulfill.

Do you know which ones would be the easiest (i.e. least number of additional courses)?

thats a good question i am wondering the same thing. for a premed which school would it be easiest to get into.

like what major would be easiest? whatever you are best at. you just have to fulfill all the med school requirements, take the MCAT, and graduate. As far as applying to Rice, I've heard there is very little difference what school you apply to, although I've also heard engineering may a very small amount harder to get into, but its not like a state school where you apply to a College of Engineering, at Rice you apply to Rice. If you can't get into Rice, it won't be because you applied to a certain school within Rice.

Whatever you're interested in right now. You're free to switch between majors and schools (except for music and architecture) anytime you want.

I just got back from Rice.
From what the pre-med advisor said, it doesn't really matter because you are going to have to take all the requirements anyways.

But I think Natural Science would be best
