Premed in UK

Anyone else considering this? I really want to go to the UK for college, but each time I find somewhere it doesn't fit the Pre-Med requirements. The schools I looked at are University of St. Andrews (Scotland), University of Richmond American School in London (but doesn't offer science degrees(???)), and a couple others that were quickly dismissed. I really really would like to go to the UK, but I can't seem to find anywhere that is welcoming towards pre med. Maybe welcoming isn't the right word - I just am looknig for somewhere where you can major in say, biology, but still take the prerequisites required for med school.
Anyone know anything about this?
I've read somewhere that Middlesex University offers a pre-med major. True?

Thanks so much!

I don't know much about UK schools, but the system of education between universities there and in the US is vastly different. I believe that once you declare a major, you only take classes within that department. Schools there are not designed to funnel you into the American med school system. You also need to consider that the quality of pre-med advising at a UK school is probably going to be sub-par because very few, if any students, there intend to go to the US for medical school.

If I were you, I would go to an American school that offers UK study abroad and is compatible with pre-med requirements. (Plug: like NYU! I loved being in the UK.)
