Hi there. I am told from my D’s coach that there will likely not be another round at CMU. Evidently they made some cuts after this past weekend, and I suppose are going to make decisions about offers from the remaining pool?

My son has an upcoming MT audition at UMich. Can anyone share what the experience was like for them/their son/daughter?

So your daughter did all 3 BFA auditions in the same day this year over zoom? Did any of the auditors cross over? Where any the same?
None of them crossed over at all. Totally different faculty and focus. She did them over a two day period. She had acting and acting for the camera on one day and then she had musical theatre the next day. Also my daughter just reminded me that different prep materials/exercises were sent to her for each of the acting auditions.

Yes - the initial call back emails came within a few days of one another. Everything was through accepted. Good luck!
Just wondering if anyone here has heard yet from Wagner that was not a part of a third-party audition day. My son applied first and then was invited the first week of December to submit his audition video. When my son submitted his video he received an email confirmation that they would notify starting on Feb 8th. They have also posted on their website that they will be holding an admitted students zoom on the 20th and a waitlist zoom on the 27th.
We are also wondering how they are letting students know.

I saw on another board that someone heard from Wagner. No details, but their son got into Wagner’s program.

Still waiting here too, and I went back to their website - Wagner’s info on Zoom sessions has changed - Waitlist meeting is tomorrow and Accepted meeting is the 27th. Pretty sure it was the opposite last time I read it…
Nothing here yet from Wagner either. My son emailed admissions today. Was very generic. He explained he was checking in, as he was applied for Performing Arts and sent in his audition video in January, but was concerned because he knew there were meetings scheduled for tomorrow and next week, and wanted to make sure that he did not miss anything. She responded back that they have notified the first round so far and that he should hear no later than next week and thanked him for this patience. Fingers crossed. He is officially nervous about this one.
I think he would be ok had he not interviewed with Prof. Juneau (Choral Director) and Prof. Diaz (Band Director) he would not be so nervous. They both offered him spots with their programs, “Should you change your mind about going into the Performing Arts program”. He also was offered a stipend if he plays in the Marching Band. So he is really looking forward to hearing more. They are in his top 3.
