<p>Any North Carolinians eligible to apply for the <a href="http://www.ed.gov%5B/url%5D"&gt;www.ed.gov&lt;/a> presidential scholarship? If so, what was your SAT score?</p>

<p>My D is applying - 1600 SAT I though it is not a scholarship, it is a recognition.</p>

<p>I called them today and my 1580 was 10 short of being in the running. Oh well... I should be going to Washington for free for something else anyway...</p>
