Congrats to everyone else, too!

Thanks, spmo96! Congrats to everyone else so far and I’ve got my fingers crossed for the rest of you. My daughter has a friend who hasn’t heard yet either, so we’re really hoping she gets a positive call too. For those of you who haven’t heard, has anyone called their admissions counselor to see what they know?

Also, mlayman14, I’m in Ohio too. East side of Cincinnati. CinMom, I didn’t know if you might also be from Cincinnati or if the “Cin” in your name stands for something else. (Not that you need to tell me if you wish to remain confidential)

Any new scoop? I still haven’t given up hope!

SwimMom87 - Small world! I am also in the East side area of Cincinnati!

I still haven’t heard back either here in St. Louis. It’s starting to concern me because looking back through my email, I don’t know if I ever received a confirmation email that my app for the presidential scholarship was submitted. Plus, what’s frustrating is that I have previously tried to contact my admissions counselor, Jessica McNeese, about an unrelated issue, calling and emailing her multiple times, and I never heard back. My high school counselor finally found another person to talk to. Any advice?

scissorkick ~ I didn’t receive a confirmation email either. I called my admission counselor yesterday and she said they would be calling through the end of this week. I asked if I would be called for an interview and she said she couldn’t tell me. What the heck?

ECS1996- that’s so weird, why wouldn’t they just tell you since you called? At least we’re in the same boat, I guess we’ll hopefully be hearing back today! Good luck, hope you make it!

Congratulations to everyone!
I’m getting reallllllly nervous here in Ohio. I remember there is one unheard voicemail at my home, now I’m wondering if it’s ‘the call’!

Any finalists willing to post stats?

Stripedshirt- I’m not sure if I’m a finalist yet, but 35 ACT & 3.86 GPA unweighted, hbu?
Hope you got the call!

To all those waiting: I just called SLU and spoke to someone in Admissions. I asked if they were still making calls. She said they were through 5:00 p.m. today. If you are not invited for an interview, you will receive a letter in the mail. :(

Bummer :-(

I got the letter today. You’d think after all the work we put into applying they would at least call… Good luck to everyone who made it though. I don’t think I’ll be going to SLU.

Sorry, scissorkick. I am expecting a letter also. I like University of Dayton and University of Louisville. What are your other choices, if you don’t mind sharing?

Sorry about yours too ECS1996. I haven’t thought about those but both sound like good schools, might consider them. Others I was thinking of are Yale, Mizzou, Vanderbilt, University of Texas at Austin, TCU, and Wake Forest. What are you planning on majoring in?

scissorkick - Biomedical Engineering, how about you?

ECS1996- That’s cool. I’m planning on Psychology for premed, with a minor (possibly major) in piano. Is Dayton a pretty good school? Have you applied for any scholarships there?

scissorkick ~ Maybe we shouldn’t message on this thread about schools other than SLU. I could look you up on Facebook if you want to chat further about University of Dayton. It is really a good school.

@ECS1996 and @scissorkick I live near and have been on UD’s campus if you have any questions about the area or anything. Also I’m going into BME too and looking into Louisville! All these coincidences :)

Has anyone heard results yet? I think they said today would be the day that they announce winners.

I haven’t heard anything yet… I’m from STL.

Also waiting to hear on the Presidential. 7:19 pm Friday (Chicago area) and nothing so far. Were only the winners to be notified, and by what method?
