Presidential Scholarship- SAT twice?

Hey guys,

So I was just thinking about the presidential scholarship, and I know to be nominated you have to be in top 40 of your state SAT/ACT score wise. I took the SAT twice, first time was a 2300(not good enough for PS) and the second a 2400. I know that they look at single sitting, but does it matter if I took it twice? Also, initially is there anything outside of test scores that determine the nomination?

It’s not a scholarship. Its an honorary designation (Presidential Scholar). No money goes with it. Ask your HS GC if they care if you took the test twice. I doubt it. There is a big package you have to put together for the award. Yes there is much more involved.
