<p>Is there more than one Presidential Scholarships? I keeping reading about there being hundreds of Presidential Scholars at this school and that school but when I researched it I could only find one that picks up to 141 a year and they're like the smartest people in the country and meet the President and all. These are 2 different scholarships right? Because there can't be "hundreds" at multiple schools, there's not enough of them.</p>

<p>The Presidential Scholar award is a nation wide honor. It is not a scholarship, there is no money involved. But it is a prestigious honor.</p>
<p>Many schools have their own scholarships that are called various names such as presidential scholarship, or regents scholarship, or deans scholarship. The presidential scholarship may (or may not) be the name given to one of the more generous scholarships a school particular may offer. Nothing whatsoever to do with to do with the Presidential scholar award or the President of the US.</p>
