I want to try to earn a scholarship from A private college but I'm not sure what this would counts toward (specifically, loyola maryland). <p>It depends on the Presidential Scholarship amount. In the vast majority of cases, this goes to tuition and fees first. Most of these scholarships are not enough money per year to also cover room/board at a private university.</p>
