First, sorry if I've missed this in some other thread.

Can anyone with experience chime in?

What happens at Preview with the AP courses I've taken, but have not received a final test grade as of my scheduled Preview? Will the counselors assume a passing grade for purposes of setting my Fall schedule. I should technically start as a sophomore with all the AP coursework taken over the last 3 years of high school.

Thanks

When picking your classes they’ll ask you what you think you got on the AP exam. If you think you passed, they’ll treat you as if you did.

That easy…sweet. Thanks!

They will only do this for some classes. For example, I took calc ab and think I passed but I couldn’t sign up for the next level of calc. They just placed me in a beginners math class. When I get my scores I have to email them so they will put me in my proper math class.

Thanks, agree. I’ve heard the Mathematics Department is more stringent regarding AP and that they look for 5’s on Math AP’s, otherwise suggest you retake it in college. Also was told ALEKS (can google it) gave a good indication of success at college level math. Cost $20 to hop on for a month to test yourself. I might try that too.
