Shall we take the post to 1000?

WHOOOO we only need 39 more posts in this thread to get to 1000 GO GO GO !

lets do favorite movies

my favorites are Lotr and Troy

Gladiator, Office Space, Legally Blonde, Breakfast at Tiffany's.... there's so many more that I could list...

loved all the LOTR movies and Troy as well, Akash... but I hated how they barely even alluded to Patroclus + Archilles...

yup

but peter o toole was goood
And i liked the actress who played andromache

i loved legally blonde too

Ok,I definitely have to catch some sleep now.My parents have just woken up
Bye

lol was it like 4am there? geez

My favorite is Cruel Intentions, but I like my share of chick flicks a la the classic Clueless and Mean Girls.

haha akash lol! u are a funny kid

legally blonde is really good

i love lotr whooo! but big fish is one of my favorites...and finding nemo

Ohh! Finding Nemo!

Just keep swimmin just keep swimmin

ok,10 more minutes

I loved finding nemo and cruel intentions too
but i hated CI's sequels

omg I don't even consider them legit because they were straight to video and not done by the same people.

Ryan Phillippe = completely underrated and overshadowed by Reese.
Speaking of whom I liked Vanity Fair as well. Almost made me go read the book but I don't have that kind of time now.

oh for a second i thot u said "made me go read the magazine" lol that would be funny

i didnt know cruel intentions had sequels?

Meh it's almost like the Bring It On sequel. Nobody watches it and it's a complete fake.

awww how depressing

did it even have ryan phillipe and reese witherspoon in it?

Finding Nemo is of course fantastic, but my vote goes to HBO's Angels in America. I still talk about this movie all the time. Simply amazing, it was.

Oh it is! My book club read the play and then watched the movie. Fantastic.

(no Cruel Intentions 2 didn't have any famous people)

I really want to read the play. I think that'll be a Winter Break project of mine (that and either sporadically breaking out into ecstatic spasms over an acceptance or periods of throwing myself up against the fireplace in the event of a rejection/deferral).

lol it's very easy to read through and I definitely think the movie did a good job. I'm one of those people that refuse to see the movie without reading the book most of the time though. When The Hours came out I didn't want to see it without reading the book, which of course you have to read Mrs. Dalloway for, so I read the two books and by that time the movie wasn't in theaters anymore. lol

ok, sidetracking from the movie chat.....anybody read Candide? and yes, I do have a point with this question.....
