Princeton Humanities Symposium

Is anyone else attending? And does anyone know whether or not being nominated and then invited is considered a big plus (even perhaps a hook?) in the admissions process?

I signed up to host a symposier, my roommate and i are SOOOO excited!

Haha I think I'll sign up too. Our common room is very big. :p

Our double is the messiest in the area but that ain't stopping us.

Wait, did i miss something? What is this symposium?

From what the letter said, its a symposium for about 60-70 seniors about "Classical Athens and its Legacy." Students are nominated by their schools and selected by Princeton.

Um, does anyone have any idea how going would factor into the admissions process?

They told us that these are some of the brilliantest high schoolers in the nation and that we should treat them well so they want to go here - so I'm thinking they kind of use it as recruiting - so I'm thinking it will help quite a bit.

Lol, wow, I hope in that case we don't disappoint.

I'm pretty sure that if pton picks u for this thing, you can be pretty sure that u will be admitted

no, i don't think that's true, king.
