the Woodrow Wilson essay
I chose my own quote and wrote about my values.
Mine was entitled “Bushy Eyebrows”, and I wrote about being an outsider to American values as a first gen american trying to balance my Turkish culture with the expectations of my peers and teachers.
I’m actually really proud of that essay.
@schroscat can I read bushy eyebrows?? That sounds v interesting
@gracein19 Haha, sure!

Did anyone else receive this email today and, what if anything, does it mean? “”
Dear Student,

@rodrigoborgia Yep, everyone is getting that email. It means exactly what it says. It’s just a message explaining how to check your decision, not an indication of acceptance.
That email has been going out over the past several days. Every applicant eventually gets it between this past week and March 31. It means what it says! There is no “hidden meaning.”
How come people got that email at different times?
I received the email on March 24th at 10 PM EST.
When there’s God knows how many applicants, the emails need to be sent out in waves.
I received mine on the 24th as well.
reading this thread has just dispelled any hope that princeton would want me lol. plus some one from my high school was already accepted ED. sigh. I kind of wish they’d just give us the rejections now, instead of making us wait :’(
Omg @schroscat
Your cat is cute!
@Oddenigma Thank you! That picture was when he was a kitten…he’s still cute…but he’s pretty fat. Hahaa…Schrodinger’s Cat is not dead, just fat.
Schrödinger’s cat lives!
Lol
How many of you got any financial aid-related emails in March?
I got one asking for missing tax forms on March 7. I faxed them on March 9 and haven’t heard from them since. Anyone else?
I got an email on the 18th but it was a coding error bc I had already submitted mine.
