@gratefulstudent I received two emails asking for my tax forms in mid-March. I faxed mine in, so I don’t expect a confirmation email, because when you send a fax, you get a confirmation that the other side got it.
@Monster1997 If you sent everything in, you wouldn’t get an email anyway, so don’t worry about it!
should i be nervous if i didn’t get an email?
@Foodlover001 So back in late february, they emailed me saying that my application for pfaa was missing. I submitted the application and emailed Princeton my tax docs soon after.
I know I mentioned this already, but if I got an email response to my application update in early march is that a good sign?
@Californian10 : oh okay, got it. This fin aid stuff is so confusing!
@Foodlover001 this all is confusing, but idk if it’s even a good sign that the undergrad financial aid peeps emailed me back saying they received my documents. It is close to decision date.
@Californian10 I also got the missing PFAA email in late February and sent them my tax documents via snail mail shortly after. I never got any confirmation from them. Should I be nervous or worried? Did you ask them if they had your stuff before you got the confirmation email?
@sarcophagusjones I just emailed them asking if they received it or not.
I just finished watching it, and it’s really good.
Thank you.
@californian10 okay, cool. Thank you.
do our interviewers get notified earlier
It’s possible that it’s a good sign, but If you already turned everything it it shouldn’t mattee
The down side of not applying for FA
Do you guys think that since admissions has basically decided who has been accepted/waitlisted/rejected that their response about receiving my financial aid documents is a good sign?
I never got any email about missing documents, but i think I had all my documents in anyway. I did email the office in early March I think around the 8th with a major application update, and I received a response saying that they would add it to my file. So I assume my decision hadn’t been made yet.
The response of “Received, will add to your file” means nothing-- they do that for everyone. It’s when they ask you for things or reply so late in the cycle (read: Mid-late March) that there is any potential for correlation.
Just to add, I emailed the undergrad financial aid office two weeks ago and just got the response today.
Yeah my point was to say that a lot of decisions in early March still weren’t made so if you guys are wondering about stuff from back then, it probably meant nothing

Umm… Has anybody checked the PFAA site recently?
If not, please check here and tell me whether it’s opening for you…It shows system error to me. Is that normal or did I mess up something? xD
