@16elir Haha I almost didn’t watch it when I saw the title but omg that was one of the best things ever (third to getting into Princeton or Dartmouth haha)
Next year’s students are going to have a hard time shifting through this year’s Ivy threads for clues… :))
Haha I was thinking that too! We’re a bit obsessive about posting here
@bebitz CC is actually such a great place! I was accepted to this program with Columbia (yep, it released decisions a bit earlier than Ivy Day) and we made a facebook group, and half the people in there were going OMG I KNOW YOU FROM CC. Your comment brought that to mind. Plus I tend to talk too much when I’m stressed- oh well! Best of luck to you!
Does anyone know if they will email us when the decision are available?
@greysanatomy3113 good question! I was wondering the same thing…I think I’m just going to have the link that was emailed out open in a tab on my computer and then refresh at 4 PM CT.
Why 4:00? I thought it was at 5:00?
4:00 Central time is 5:00 eastern time
Whoops. Sorry. Saw the “CT” and thought she meant Connecticut (east coaster here). thank you
3 HOURS TO GO
For those of us who get in, this is hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YDhf9qwiA34
For those of us who don’t, it’s still hilarious.
Do you guys think that I can get into princeton if i got denied by UVA, Michigan, William and Mary, Boston College and U of Chicago. I only got accepted to Penn State, Rutgers and SUNY. I only had a 1790 on my SAT. I legit have no shot here.
App Tracker is finally down
@azadsadiq Well, colleges accept and deny all over the place. There’s isn’t a legitimate formula that any college uses to determine who’s a good fit. It’s rare, but some Ivy League schools could accept a few people with scores on the lower side, but for that to happen I’m assuming that your extracurriculars and life story would have to be extraordinary to make up for the score. Good luck!
I just realised I had been calculating my timezone difference by using PST rather than EST!! Psychologically speaking, the decisions are coming much earlier than I expected them to, but nevertheless, I would be asleep when they do come, because it would be freaking 2:30 am here then :(( :((
is the portal being weird for anyone else? I’ve been spontaneously (and neurotically) logging in over the past few hours and it changed. It doesn’t let me log in anymore. At first it said ‘error’ and the brought me to a page that says
Applicants will be able to view their decisions beginning at 5 p.m. EDT on Mar. 31.
To view your decision, you must first register with Princeton’s Application Tracking System. If you have not already done so, please register now with Princeton’s Application Tracking System.
Please note: Your username and password are not the same as your email address and PIN.
and it won’t even let me log in, any time i click my bookmark it brings me right to that page…anyone else?
Mine has said that for the last week. I think it’s normal. :-?
Mine just says error 404: not found
@layla2016 Have the same issue
