Funny to see this line in that story about the Class of 2020:
“Students receiving offers of admission to the Class of 2020 come from 49 states.”
Last year the Class of 2019 story was posted at about this time and had a line that said something like, “Students were accepted from every state except North Dakota,” and there was a North Dakota kid on here who said something like, “Guess I didn’t get in.” So Princeton didn’t say what state was left out this year in their announcement story.
What is the state that got no admissions?
Hawaii or Alaska probably
@baltimoreguy Oh my gosh, I noticed that too! Now I’m even more tense though because I come from a rather uncommon state when it comes to Ivy League admissions…

Well, I don’t know if I should be so hopeful, but they have mentioned that they have accepted students from my country, that is, India. I really, REALLY wish one of those lucky Indians is me.

@baltimoreguy That’s so brutal… Poor kid.
Unbelievable…I’m convinced that within the next few decades (or perhaps less), we’ll be looking at schools accepting 1% or less of students. I can’t even imagine that; I’m stressed enough as it is with our odds!
At least I am not going to strike out today since I got into Tufts 
@abyssofstress That’s a possibility. It all depends on how many more applicants apply within the next few years, but that won’t be our problem.

Does anyone know whether or not Princeton mails acceptance letters through UPS? Because if they do, then I got rejected. I made a UPS My Choice account and it tracks incoming deliveries to the selected address, but it looks like I have no deliveries coming in.
it’s a good day to be from NJ lol. regardless, i’m almost positive i will be rejected. it’s been a fun ride though!
