Princeton?

Hey guys,
I'm a freshman at an all girls Catholic prep school. With the year ending, I'll have:
B+ Latin
B+ Theology(semester 1 course)
A- Theology S2
A advanced geometry
A- history
A lit (regular level)
B- regular level biology.
I've been a part of mathletes, national art honor society, ministry(leadership organization via altar serving), community service groups inside and outside school, latin club and the crew team. This summer I am doing some volunteer work as well. I transfered to my high school a little late in the school year, so I had a slow start in classes like Latin and Biology. Is this enough to potentially be admitted into Princeton? Will the B's hurt me? Thanks so much.

It’s really absurd to ask for a chances thread as a Freshman, especially as many Unis (Even Ivies) ignore Freshman year. I’d advise you to come back junior year 2nd semester with more information. I’ll try to do what I can though.

If there’s one thing I could advise you on, it’s to find a passion and stick with it. Your EC list can quickly regress into the dreaded “Laundry-List” in the eyes of an admissions officer.

Don’t get too comfortable with B’s either. You might be able to let that fly as a freshman (and with your circumstances in mind), but it certainly won’t for your next three years, especially in a regular class for a world-class uni like Princeton.

Find some leadership in your ECs too, it tends to help, especially early on (once you find a passion).

Hope I helped! Can’t wait to see it fully filled in two years - hoping the best for you!
