Process of Transferring to Pitt from Different College

For example say I was at Duquesne, and I was interested in transferring to Pitt. When can I appy to transfer, at what year of Duquese??? After a semester of freshman year or sophomore year?? What gpa do u need to transfer to Pitt???

and am pre med neuroscience or science major, what school of Pitt to apply to then? If i want to transfer to Pitt Main?

Since you are only just beginning your junior year, I would not worry about this now. Do the best you can in high school and let the chips fall where they may. Apply to both and if by some chance you don’t get into Pitt, you can ask questions about transferring at that time. Perhaps you should hang out at the Pitt website rather than CC, because then you would know that neuroscience and other sciences are in the Kenneth P. Dietrich School of Arts and Sciences.

You can transfer after 1 semester but it’s generally easy to transition after a full year. I have a friend that did that (from Duquesne to Pitt). However I agree with southeastmom. You haven’t even applied to either school, nor finished junior year or taken your SATs. These questions are therefore kind of useless right now. Once you reach that point, if you reach that point, then it is worth asking again.
