Professor changes

I barely realized a class of mine isn’t gonna work, there’s nothing wrong with the class itself or the professor just the timing. Is there a possible way to change it even though I start in 4 days? :frowning:

No one here knows your college add/drop procedures, especially without the school name. Surely such info is available on-line.

Look for something like this - https://www.purdue.edu/registrar/documents/calendars/dropAddDeadlines/schedReviseCal_Fall.pdf

Your thread title is professor changes. If you want a different professor go see your registrar and ask if any other sections are open.

I’m sure there’s a way to easily change it. I’d suggest finding either your academic advisor or the advising center on campus and speaking with someone there to identify the correct process. If you can look online and find a different class to replace the problematic one, you’ll find it easier to accomplish.

At most schools, it’s possible to change your class if it hasn’t started yet. You’d need to first find out if there are spaces available in the section that you want, then sign up for that section, then drop your current section. But before you drop your current section of the class, make sure that you’ve gotten into the section that you want.

You can talk to an advisor on your campus to find out how all this is done there, or else look it up in the college’s catalogue/website.
