I made a schedule a few weeks ago...and now some of times are conflicting with other things I want to do. I can't seem to change my classes though.

I'm a sophomore CALS transfer - does anyone know how I can change my classes at this point? I don't want to wait until the Aug 27th Add/Drop period cause it will stay on my record as dropped.

Anyone?

Thanks!

I truly have no idea since I'm only a senior in HS, but congrats on getting accepted to CALS!

You can't change until the add/drop period in August and it will not show that you dropped. That only happens if you withdraw after the drop period ends (about 7 weeks into the semester).

Call CALS and see what what you can do about it. You probably would just have to re-submit the enrollment form or something or just do it on the phone with them. Plus I think they still do some sort of advisor appts during orientation, so you can probably do it then.

yeah and what dewdrop said...cuz i was actually just about to put that since i just checked

Lots of people drop/add even after classes begin. Just be aware of the charges that my be added after certain time periods in order to change.

It only stays on your record as dropped if you do it after the add/drop period is over (then it is a withdrawl).. The add/drop period is 6 or so weeks and literally every one adds and drops courses in the beginning of the semester. It is not uncommon to sign up for more classes than you can take (even conflicting classes) during coursenroll then drop/change some of the courses in the beginning of the semester. There is no need to call your advisor or CALS etc. Its not a big deal.

Okay - thanks. I just hope the class times I need to change to don't fill up.

dont worry about it...out of all the classes i preenrolled for last semester, i took 0

^Ha, okay. Thanks.
