Progress Report Grades?

This is how my school works;

1st Semester: 9/9/2013-2/7/2014
Fall: September 9th - February 7th
• 6 week = Progress Report Oct. 18, 2013
• 9 week = Progress Report Nov. 8, 2013 (D/F only)
• 12 week = Progress Report Dec. 6, 2013
• 18 week = Semester Grades Feb. 7, 2014
The semester grade is posted on transcript.

I have an 89 in Spanish II because I got a B on the 1st and only test bringing my grade down from a 100 to an 89. We just took another test, and I'm very worried about my Spanish grade. All my other grades, such as AP World or Hons Precalc I'm fine with, as I probably will get an A.

But the thing is...do colleges look at the 6 week progress report? Do the 6 week progress reports even go on the transcript or affect my GPA? Please help, I'm getting very stressed out!

I only have the overall grade for the year on my transcript.

But do colleges look at 6 weeks?

No… only semester

Bleh, stressing me out.

Dont want to be obnoxious, but can anyone help? (help more) -_-

No, I don’t think they do. Only report card grades/final grades at the end of each year. A progress report is just a report on your current progress and nothing more. Isn’t gonna show up on your college app.

They look at semester grades.

They only look at semester (end of course)

Colleges only see whatever goes on your actual transcript. Most high schools I’ve known only report the semester/final grade on the transcript.

even if they could see your progress report grades, why would they care? it’s not even a final grade; it’s just a halfway grade. if it’s not reflected in your gpa or class rank, who would even care (besides your parents or something)?

^This person has a good point.
