<p>So it's really early for this topic but my school's prom is April 19 and I was informed today by my friends that I'm not allowed to not go to my senior prom...</p>

At my school all upperclassman can go to prom, not sure if I’m going this year (I’m a junior), but I know I will go next year.</p>

<p>Prom’s fairly enjoyable. You get a nice dress, take some awesome pictures with your friends, go to dinner, cram in a tiny car in poofy dresses to drive to your school, dance, and then after-party the night away. Lots of memories.</p>
<p>Lol I wasn’t going to go to prom at all, but then I got a gf. So now it’s almost like a given.</p>
<p>I’m being forced because while I can say no to a single person, I can’t easily say no to a group of people. And my friends know this and take advantage of it.</p>
<p>I’ve never wanted to go to prom. I like the dressing up but everything after that is just not for me.</p>
<p>I went to prom last year with my senior (now-ex) bf, and it was pretty stupid then, plus a lot of drama with my (now-former) friend who turned out to like the guy who asked me, so I doubt I’ll go again. Don’t get me wrong, I liked dressing up and going to dinner, just the prom part was dumb. This time, I’m opting for a movie and dinner instead :D</p>
