Mine was 2 weeks ago and it was a blastttt. And you know, I think everyone wants to go to prom, deep down. Really.

my prom is on may 20th!!! woohoo..i cant wait, but since im on the committee....i wouldnt have to! ill noe the details beforehand....on second thots, prom won't be much of a surprise then....

It's a pretty big deal at my school; people always ask each other in really really big ways, so it always gets interesting a few weeks before prom. This year, i bought like a million hershey's kisses and set them up outside a classroom that she (my date) was in. WHen she came out, she followed the path they formed to a bench where i sat with a sign that said "now that i've kissed the ground you walk on, will you go to prom with me?" It was pretty awesome. And within an hour, the freshmen had eaten all of the candy... there was seriously like over a thousand kisses so it was pretty impressive.

Go with all 3 of them =)

OP: you're not weird. i'm a girl and i turned down two guys. i just dont want to go to prom. lol.

diezel, i say go just foro the fck of it....realistically speaking if ur not at the prom, ur probably just going to be sitting around playing video games, eating pizza or doing something of the sorts...even if prom sucks a lot (which by the way, it wont) but even if it does, it will still be a more interesting evening than staying at home...unless money is a serious issue for you, then i say gooo

I wouldn't mind going, but looking at it...it does cost A LOT of money and I only wanted to go w/ a girl that I REALLY liked (but she was going to be out of town for a week) and decided not to go. I mean, the scenario of dancing with a girl that I don't really know and decided to ask just for the heck of going to Prom seems kind of...awkward..and a waste of money. Truly, 10 years from now are you really going to remember that night????

However, after parties and post-prom parties are a definite must even if you didn't go to prom.
