Proofread my Common App essay (for Emory)?

<p>At 585 words, my essay goes a little over the 500 word limit, but I honestly cannot cut it anymore...at least I don't think. I don't want to sacrifice quality for some guideline...but anyways! I think my essay is pretty solid, but I'm not sure if it's exactly the right topic for a college essay. I would really like as many opinions on it as possible, preferably from people who are skilled in proofreading for not only grammar, but also content. </p>
