PSAT 2011 Saturday General Discussion

post 246: what was the question…? I don’t remember that…

it was saying that people think of nature as land not affected by humans

@mistervert
you had to read specifically from the liens they told you to, and they only told you to read up to the part about artificial and processes from something. from those lines specifically, you could deduce that it was free from human interferece, because the nature writers didn’t like it b/c it was artificial

… stupid privacy… stupid gardening…

how can some lady’s hands be more interesting???!!!

i thought bitter resentment was too strong, i chose wry disapproval

What was quesiton 22 about the protective means about?

how come you guys got so many no errors? I only got 1…

@tasreep;
Daschund dogs is not no error. it’s D. it should be " either would make AN excellent PET" not “excellent pets” b/c either is singular.

yeah. i hope i got 3 CR , 1 Math, and 4 Writing wrong :D

So how many no errors? I think I got 3, after noticing that flipping the switch is correct?

flipping the switch is correct? how???

That was a really easy test. I think I got somewhere from 233 to 240, depending on how the curve is this year. I predict 0 mistakes on Math and Writing and 1 or 2 mistakes on Critical Reading.

And how the hell is “flipping the switch” correct?

i got flipping the switch as incorrect. The project (whatever it was) does not do the flip switching

anyone remember an CR answer about: the word “traditional”----I put that it meant “customary” the choices were:

authoritative, inherited, and two other words

ok yea, pretty sure flipping is INCORRECT

also, yea i got traditional → customary

fff. i left that one blank and forgot to go back to it

Yup, traditional meant customary.

Ahhhhhh I hate how I put only 49 adults had to leave instead of 50… There goes my 80.
