@highcoll you should be able to log into your collegeboard account to access them without a code on Thursday. If you go on now you’ll see last years score so I assume they will update it with this years scores.
So if we are a junior who took the test, should we have expected to have heard anything yet if we were in the top 1%? I know the test scores come out Wednesday/Thursday, but has anyone received any emails or anything???
@tigerrocks13 thats what i want to know very badly also
@Plotinus I see what you are saying but I emailed Telluride and thats what they said to me, so I am going to believe them because thats all I can really do at this point, but you have an excellent point.
DS scored a 207 as a sophomore in 2014 and did not receive a TASP email.
@garyasho2 lol I really hope so!
Even if we do get our scores, we won’t know if we have a qualifying score or not -_-.
To get a rough idea, try my formula back on post #960. Use last year’s cutoff for your state as the old value,
@nw2this I think PrepScholar’s predictions are more accurate, since they take into account that the new PSAT doesn’t deduct 1.25 points if you miss a question, so you’re allowed to miss more on the new PSAT.
@nw2this You may want to make a correction in your calculations. The old PSAT range was 60 to 240 (20 to 80 for each of 3 sections), and the new selection index range is 48 to 228 (16 to 76 for each section). One could estimate the new state cutoffs by subtracting 12 from each of the old cutoffs, but that might not hold up if the new test is easier or harder than the old one.
I am quite certain that TASP looked at both given the evidence in the past posts.
@thkim1011 I really hope not because that means I didn’t do well on this PSAT :(.
Wouldn’t you say that if you are from a fairly low performing state and you’re in the top 1% nationally, then shouldn’t you be pretty confident that you got Semifinalist?
Do they tell you your national rank in the score report?
@glassflowers they give a nation percentile for each section
https://collegereadiness.collegeboard.org/pdf/sample-psat-nmsqt-score-report.pdf
The sample score sheet indicates a national percentile for Math and English but not the NMSC Selection Index. I agree with Chew97083, if you are top 1% in nationally, you should feel pretty confident.
For those that are in the top 1% in English and close in Math; let the angst begin until September.
Re-posting, this is what is expected to be received on 01/07:

@glassflowers Haha so I just asked my counselor and she said that she would not tell me after school tomorrow. Isn’t that funny? She claims it’s because there will be too many people wanting to know their score tomorrow and she doesn’t have the time to tell everyone their scores.
@garyasho2 Your counselor has some nerve! Doesn’t she know who you are??
Anyone who can get his or her scores tomorrow please report them on here so that we can analyze the data.
@garyasho2 Omg that’s the same thing half my teachers said for finals grades
