@JuicyMango Let’s hope the glitch happens again.
I think if you had the account with a score already somehow the system allowed you to bypass the Access Code and login to QuickStart. Those who are new to the College Board (such as my D3) were not so lucky.
Did anyone get percentiles?
Really hope the scores I saw were not a mistake…no he did not receive anything from TASP, Stanford or any of the Ivies. 99th percentile composite as well as Math, Reading/Writing
@Mamelot - This is what my child’s school sent out:
Students that provided a valid email on their PSAT/NSMQT answer sheet will be notified by email when their scores are available online. In order to access scores online, the student must have a College Board Student Account.
Be sure the information provided for the College Board account is identical to the information provided on the PSAT/NMSQT answer sheet. If the information is different, an access code will be needed to access the scores. Your access code will be provided to you on the paper score report you get sometime in mid-late January.
Yes, the scores show national percentiles in English, Math and composite.
This whole affair is funny.
We got national percentiles but I had a difficult time deciphering them in the short amount of time I could see them. I was rather confused by the whole thing, to be honest.
They did give a National Merit selection index.
I got 99% percentile in everything and I got the TASP and Stanford emails. But I also got in the 99th percentile last year, so I don’t think that proves anything.
Well, now the website seems to be working about as well as you’d expect given that a nationally-followed forum just posted that scores are available! LOL!
Bets on how fast the CB site CRASHES once the access codes become available and everybody logs on?
I really hope that it doesn’t end up being like the September ACT, where they gave out scores in certain groups, especially since the waiting time has been a lot longer
Damn it, just logged in and got nothing!
I hate the CB. Truly. Just send the stupid emails out and stop with the waiting.
@suzyQ7 My feelings exactly. Like you already have the scores, just release them. Ugh, so annoyed.
I got the invitation from TASP and have my score now. My score is 99th for everything.
@dongrae Huh? Did you check during that window from 2:30-2:40? Or how did you get them
I got the scores around 2 hours ago via CB website and I downloaded and printed them out.
@dongrae
Were your scores in the 99th percentile also in 2014?
yes, . I got 231 in 2014 as a sophomore .
@suzy100 that makes sense. I called CB to ask, since my daughter used a personal email address, but her CB account was created under a shared email address. They said she would receive her access code at her personal email, but it could then be used to access scores on any CB account. If you provided a bogus email account, then you will have to wait for the paper I guess.
Sounds like everyone is going to be in the 99th percentile!
@2muchquan I was thinking the same thing. Worried that it really was a glitch and that the score will change two days from now.
