PSAT for Sophomores

We got our scores today, I was super nervous because I didn't study but I got a 207; 64 critical reading, 74 math, 69 writing...

I guess I would just like to know where I stand as a sophomore and how to get better. I realize this doesn't really count for anything but I won't have a ton of time this summer to raise my score

So,
where do I stand?
and do you have any tips for improvement?

Thanks!

You did great, but you could use a bit more work on CR, since it is your worst score. What state are you from?

The good news is that, as far as I’ve seen, PSAT scores tend to translate into higher SAT scores. I scored one point lower than you, if I recall correctly, and I currently have a 2250 after two takes.

The bad news is that you shouldn’t be me and you should actually study for the PSAT next year and then the SAT. Make a little time every night or week or something if you can.

I’m living abroad so we’re still waiting for our scores, if the don’t come this week then we’ll get them after break.

I’m not sure what to expect. I was given some bad advice in the middle of the test from students(I don’t know why I listened, but I thought that since they had taken the psats as freshmen they knew better). Hopefully It didn’t affect me too much! I hope they come this week!

Doesn’t it give you the percentile on your score sheet? That tells you where you stand. I got a 190.

Those are good scores. I’m a sophomore, and I didn’t study either, and I got a 215 (75 CR, 74 Math, 66 Writing)

did u guys study?

Well, I didn’t study, and the OP said he didn’t, but I don’t know about the rest.

I didn’t study; I’ll post my score when I get it on Monday.

@Sinestro kansas… our scores are low, like 213s
how are you guys going to study…?
