PSAT- important question!!!!!!!!!!!!

here's the thing:

i've been living in the US for about 4 years and I think my family's going to at least live here for another 2 years, just in time for me to enter college. (i'm a junior right now). i'm not a US citizen nor am I a permanent resident.

So...do I get any recognition for taking the PSAT? Say I numerically qualify for national merit commended or semi-finalist honors. would i be able to put this on my college application or be considered a "scholar"?

anyway, thanks so much for answering this. im just dying to find out...

No, I don't think you can qualify for any prize/status unless you're at least a permanent resident

great...whats the point of even taking it then...

Nothing i guess.....
hey at least its practice for the SAT ...

17 bucks of practice :)

well at least its free cuz my school's paying for it. thanks guys!
