Hey all. I'm just doing some planning ahead for next school year and would like to know what you guys think is a good review book for the PSAT/NMSQT. I'll be taking an SAT course over the summer which ends after the October SAT, so until November I would like to review for the PSAT on my own. As of now, it looks like to me that the best choices are either PR's book or Barron's. What do you guys think?

Thanks in advance.

PSAT is only in October, I believe. I would get princeton review, just because I like their books best. :P

Use the Official SAT Study Guide, even for the PSAT. Just make sure you take at least one PSAT practice test to understand that test’s format.

Holistically, the PSAT has slightly easier questions than the SAT; however, the test has a harsher curve than the SAT.

Purchase released PSATs from the College Board. I boosted my score 15 points by doing that.

I never noticed this.

The PSAT could appear to have slightly easier math questions since it doesn’t test Algebra 2 material unlike the SAT I, but overall i’d say it’s of the same difficulty

^ I think you clarified it, because the SAT goes through deeper in Math. I should have clarified.

Maybe it covers “deeper” material, but that doesn’t necessarily make it more difficult. The ACT Math section, for example, goes much more advanced than the SAT Math section but seemed significantly easier.
