Thanks!

if you selected the Premed-medical option for your major there should be a link there to the questions.

What is your favorite non-academic activity

Why do you want to be a physician? Why an accelerated program?? Why the PSU/Jeff Program

What is your greatest strength and weakness?

Good Luck to everyone!! I hope that we can all be accepted and chill at this amazing prog!!

yea this was the 3rd program I applied to I believe.

Hey, I heard that during the interviews for PSU's PMM, they separate people into three groups, based on their scores. Is that true?

i wish i could get an interview :(

i heard they send 3 lists to Jeff. I have no idea if there are 3 "groups"

i just sent in my application today...feelin nervous...is it better to apply for the honors college too....cuz it seems like a lot of extra work

Well, seeing how you've already submitted yourapp....isn't it sort of late to be asking that? ;]

no you can apply to the honors college by the priority deadline of thursday.

its separate, so you can still apply, though idk if i recommend it if you arent seriously considering psu even if you dont get in the program.

o yeah, and when do the letters that said u get an interview come out?

early to mid Jan

does anyone know what the interview notification letters look like?? are they standard envelopes or are they bigger than an envelope etc

They come in a box.

Anyone else know much about this program? Their website really isn't that helpful.

Well what would you liek to know? I can ask an alum of the prog I know

Aspen D:

I would like to know what the interview notification envelope looks like. Is it a standard size letter? Is it bigger than a standard size letter? or Does it have congrats on the outside?? etc.

Its obvious the acceptance later on is a large package that says congrats on the outside

Aspen D:

Who usually does the interviews (alumnus, admissions board, etc.)?

CC24

I know for the interviews there are 2. First one is an informal interview with a student in med school. The other one (most important) is a staff interview. Its probably someone on the admissions boards.

Thanks, man. I also have a question about taking the 6-year path. If you take that, as opposed to the 7-year path, do you get any time off during the summer (maybe a couple of weeks)?

I heard the summer session starts roughly June 30th and ends like mid August

and PSU usually starts the last few days of August

So, who all are applying here?
