Hi all,
I’m planning to TAG to UC Davis this upcoming September, however, I was looking through the criteria and it states that all course groups must be completed with a 2.9 (B) or better. I’ll be finished with all my major pre-reqs this spring, but I have a B- in statistics. Are my chances ruined??? Please help!!!
I believe a B- should be fine since it says: “if one course from the group is completed at the time of TAG is submitted, that course must be completed with a B grade or better”, which means if you have completed other courses, not just statistics, in the group with a B or better and meet the course group GPA you satisfy that criteria. (:
Thanks for clearing that up!!!
Actually what it says is
So any single grade doesn’t matter, your cumulative GPA is what matters.
There are 2 questions you need to answer. [ul][]For the courses in the group that you had taken at the time you submitted the TAG last fall, did you have a 2.9+ cumulative GPA for them []When you’ve finished taking all the courses, will your cumulative GPA for them be 2.9 or better?[/ul]If your answer to both is yes, this requirement will not derail your TAG. Any no answers, better go talk to a counselor.
