Purdue vs. Indiana for Undergraduate Business

I have recently been admitted by both Purdue and Indiana and I am torn between which one I should attend. I am an Indiana resident and hope to major in marketing. I have visited both campuses in the last year and I've noticed pros and cons of both. Indiana has a far more beautiful campus with more to do where as I feel like the facilities and technology fall short of Purdue. I was also not directly admitted into Kelly so I would have to work my way into the school. I'm not heavy on parties but I have an interest in greek life. Overall, I feel like my personality matches better at Purdue but I know Indiana is much more prestigious for what I want to do.

Any feedback or advice is greatly appreciated, thanks.

a) what you want to do is likely to change in the next four years.
b) no one is going to care whether you went to Purdue or Indiana; they’re only going to care about your GPA, letters of rec, internships, etc.
c) happiness is a great boon to achievement.

therefore, Purdue.

thank you so much for the reply!

Fit is everything!!

@jkeii911 is exactly right. My son spent his entire life wanting to go to go to Bloomington because I did. But after painstaking research and a lot of visits. He ended up at Kelley Indianapolis kicking butt and having the time of his life in the big city .

Why? Because it felt like a better fit. Even though he got Directly into both Kelley schools with scholarships as a freshman and everyone second guessed his choice .

Krannert is an excellent school! Go have fun!! You will be great!

Thank you so much for the reply! It’s nice to get reassurance that I am not making a bad choice.
