<p>I have seen the rankings, but in reality how does Purdue's engineering program (especially computer engineering) stack up against other top publics like Michigan, Illinois, and GTech?</p>

<p>I guess what I'm saying is, is Purdue on par with these schools for engineering?</p>

<p>yeah, maybe a bit below, but that's just getting nitpicky. purdue engineering is comparable with said schools</p>

<p>I would say Purdue, and all top pub. eng. schools like Michigan, Illinois, Gtech (Isn't this private?), UC-Berkeley, Wisconsin, Texas etc.etc. have everything and more than you need for an undergrad.</p>

<p>Surely the best students for each of these schools have no problem picking jobs or grad schools... It really depends on how well YOU do :).</p>

<p>gtech is public...purdue as a school is not as prestigious as umich, berkeley... but their engineering is on par with them</p>
