PV East vs. PV Main

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the dorming situation.

I may be attending ASU for the Fall 2013. I will be majoring in Computer Engineering which I know is automatically put into either PV East or PV Main.

My question is: Am I going to get stuck with the typical Engineering “creepy weird guys” and “no attractive girls” because I’m partyer and I love the social life. Don’t get me wrong, I have a strong GPA and very high SAT scores and can balance my love for parties and drinking with my academics.

And, for anyone with experience. Which one of the dorms would be better for my kind of scene, if there is any difference between the two. PV East or PV Main. (I heard the party is at Hassy, but too bad ASU is strict with Majors and Dorms going hand in hand.)

Also - if the typical PV East/Main IS full of “non-social wierd” students, any recommendations of how to find people with my similar “Party Hard. Work Hard.” interests?

Thanks.

Join a fraternity! If you love partying, I think you’ll find your perfect match.

I’ll be living in Barrett next year, and like you I love to party. I plan on joining a sorority to meet people other than the “honors nerds” and to help find a good balance between studying and partying. But keep in mind that ASU is known as a party school; I’ve heard it’s really hard to escape from the “festive atmosphere”, even in relatively quiet dorms.

Because PV has engineering you will find your typical nerds, but I’ve heard from friends majoring in engineering that there are actually a lot of really attractive girls! Good luck!
