Quad in Markley

Does anyone have any info regarding quads in Markley? Room dimensions, etc...

Come on people… someone must have some info!!! I know the quads are converted student lounges, but from reading other posts there are also triples and quads with bathrooms. I lived in Markley back when dinosaurs roamed the earth and it was all doubles then. My son just got a “regular” quad. Any info is greatly appreciated. GO BLUE!!!

PS. Who else can’t wait for football season this year. Hoke was a great choice, but he will need a few seasons to get things going (hopefully sooner).

There was a quad in my hall… I never was in it, but it looked like it had a smaller room connected to a little bigger room. The triple in my hall looked bigger but was only one room Also, no room in Markley has a bathroom

I’m sure there will be as much space proportionally per person as there are in doubles. I’m also in Markley, and I’m looking forward to this next year! What are the chances that a father and son both get the same freshman dorm, crazy.

The rooms are small but it’s a dorm, good location on central campus, lot of beautiful women, and a good place for social interaction

bumpty bump

IIRC the quads in markley work out to more sqft/person on average in comparison to doubles. They’re located essentially inbetween the two halls of each floor.

I wasn’t in a quad though (just a double), so I can’t say everything.

Any other Markley-specific questions? (from anyone)

Wondering how Markley actually is.
I’ve heard a lot of good things about it, and some crazy stories too
Haven’t heard about the dining.
How’s the dining there?

The Hideaway (small cafe in Markley) is sinfully good. Markley dining hall’s decent, been there once. They have Make-Your-Own pizza, which is pretty popular. If you’re not a fan of the food there, you can always walk over to MoJo, which has one of the best dining halls on campus.
