Quad or no Quad

Most but not all Freshmen get to live in the Quad. Incoming freshmen must commit by May 1, but they won't know whether they get to live in the quad until summer. I am thinking of applying next year, but, in case I get accepted, I can't imagine commiting until I am sure I get to livei n the quad.

How are all of you accepted people dealing with this uncertainty?

you deal.

not living in quad isn’t going to ruin your freshman year experience (and you might even be glad you don’t live in quad)

Also, the Quad only has room for approximately 1100-1200 people, which is only roughly half of the freshman class. The half that isn’t in the Quad doesn’t have a sub-standard freshman year just because they’re living elsewhere.

I would even say stay away from the quad. The facilities are nothing to boast about and its not far from other college houses so you can always visit friends (like a 5 minute walk). Getting into high rises first year also makes it easier in subsequent years to get good housing.

Honestly start worrying about this after you’re actually accepted.

^^^ jersey13 you made me log in

Dayum he owned you, Undclrd Stdnt.

Yes I totally agree with jersey13. Dorm is the last thing you should worry about.

Please worry about this after you are accepted.
