Does anyone know if you get sent any emails if you’re not a finalist? I read that Yale sent emails last year.

@greekguy1273 Honestly I’m not sure how we’re going to be notified, usually, an email is sent out that your application status is updated. It doesn’t matter if you were a finalist or not.

He said Yale sent him an email saying he wasn’t a finalist…so I wanted to know if anyone else knew if schools send you an email if you don’t get selected as a finalist.

Also, I got a message saying the decisions should be out by 5pm Pacific Time

@greekguy1273 How did Yale know if that guy was a finalist or not? Isn’t the first part of the process only on the QuestBridge side? I thought the colleges you ranked were only notified if you became a finalist?

I applied to CPS and got it. However, you don’t have to be a CPS to match, nor does being a CPS guarantee being a Finalist.

I’m not a finalist… frankly I’m a bit teed. I feel like that whole process was a colossal waste of time when I should have been working on my common app. I had good grades, perfect scores, and pretty great extracurriculars that I love. Mostly I think this will be embarrassing to explain to my teachers since I think they probably expected me to be a finalist

I am a finalist! I’m actually crying! And I didn’t get into CPS so I thought I was gonna be denied. Congrats to the other finalists!
