<p>I am confused about the U of R calendar. It states that exam week goes until 12/21, and winter break goes from Sunday 12/21 to Wed 1/14. I am assuming this means there aren't actually exams on Sunday? I am also assuming classes start Wed 1/14, and therefore the dorms must be open on the Tuesday before?</p>

<p>Ask your student when their last exam is. They should know by now. They may finish much earlier. My RA guy is coming home on 12/22 as that’s when he’s allowed to leave since he’s not on duty for that part of break. His exams end on the 18th if I recall correctly, so if he weren’t an RA, he could come home then or on the 19th.</p>
<p>Somewhere on the UR website they list all the final exam times based on the class schedule they had during the semester. Put in “Final exam schedule” in the UR search box. You can then see how they are spread out. Certain large classes are listed with their times already determined since they need really large rooms. </p>
