Question about course selections

Alright, this is the best place I can think of to put this. My basic question is this; should I take AP French or AP Statistics next year?

Advantages to French:
-I know French would likely look better to colleges
-I had the top score out of 65 kids taking the same level of French as me in my school on a national French contest
-The AP French teacher is better than 1 AP Stats teacher (who is terrible), similar to the other

Advantages to Stat:
-I'd like it more
-It would be less work
-I will probably declare myself as an Economics major

Note: I know I'm good at French. That doesn't mean I really like it, it just means I think I could do pretty well in the AP course.

If your going to major in Economics, I would think that AP stat would be more beneficial. I am not sure if statistics directly correlates with economics though; other people should be able to answer that.

Check out the AP policies of the colleges you're considering. AP French would likely give you credit for several semesters of college French, while AP Statistics probably won't give you any at all.
