Question about Decisions

A few days ago I read the thread on computer tips for checking decisions; however, I was under the impression that it had nothing to do with my computer just the Penn server. If this is the case, does the server usually crash? Did it crash last year? Is it expected that it will be really slow so I will get my decision really slow? How far past seven will I get my decisions if I obsessively check?

I checked my decisions online for a state school a few days ago, and it literally took me an hour. But that was with 9,000 applicants looking at the same time. I'd say that it shouldn't take more than 10 to 15 minutes of patient clicking to find out your decision.

Patient clicking?

Haha, yeah right. I'm guessing I'll have to buy a new mouse after tomorrow night

knows11...the reason those suggestions were made is because then your computer is essentially familiar with the website and the server and can access it more easily...its like your homepage...its accessed everytime you open a browser..so it generally will load quickly almost always

site will lag like crazy..... especially if we're all sitting there clicking refresh
