Really Odd Techy Question

So of course we’re all anticipating the online decisions on Dec 14th.

And of course the servers will be busy.

BUT…
Can you press “refresh” over and over again, or do you have to enter the URL over and over again, or go back and login over again? Or does just refreshing work?

depends how far u get before the server crashes.

servers not gonna crash ppl
its only 4k extra ppl at one time
it can easily handle that.
15k kids at RD time?
that im not sure abt
but 4K ppl next week?
easily done
no worries

just keep refreshing every way u can lol

So hitting "refresh" actually will refresh the page, not just keep showing the same one over and over without progress?

I'm just wondering because someone on here said that last year, people got their decisions around 10 PM because it was so busy.

check early, check often

um, yea 4,000 should not be much for a server to handle, but if we all access the site at the same time (5:00 PM or w/e the time is), then that might be a bit too much.

**** I lost my letter on accessing the decisions page.

What's the site? I have my login/password saved, but not the link

https://www.admissions.upenn.edu/decisions/pw.php

thank you!

venus i bet you just freaked out there

nah. if today were the 14th I would have. But still.. five more days to go, so i'm cool.

Last year the server didn't crash or anything, as far as I know. The page took a minute or two to load but it really wasn't that bad. It took less then 10 minutes.

I can't remember if I had to keep logging in or just refresh, though...
